Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Prism Hospitality, LP. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of housekeeping operations, including rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, storage areas, laundry facilities, restrooms, and public areas.
  • Assist in scheduling staff and assigning daily work tasks to ensure efficient operation of the department.
  • Order and receive linen and cleaning supplies, maintaining inventory levels and conducting monthly inventory checks.
  • Ensure the completion of the Housekeeper's Report and communicate clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department.
  • Document and communicate maintenance requests to the Engineering Department to ensure hotel service quality standards are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding quickly to guest requests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Display a professional image at all times, adhering to company philosophies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct training classes on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines.
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty shifts and ensure hotel compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour, and Health laws.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in housekeeping or a similar industry, including supervisory experience.
  • Alcohol awareness certification as required by local or state government agency.
  • Housekeeping certification as required by franchise.
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and direct others.
Working Conditions

This role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. You will be exposed to and working with household chemicals.
