About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Splendido, a Life Plan Community for those age 55 and better. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms/homes and common areas.
  • Sanitize, vacuum, dust, and perform trash removal, and maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart and closet.
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management.
  • Competently operate various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Change bed linens according to established standards.
  • Recognize and promptly report maintenance problems and unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Notify supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrate responsibility for the conservation of supplies, chemicals, equipment, and utilities.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks and communicate in a friendly, responsive manner.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience.
