Job Overview

Akumen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the implementation of business processes for the Department of State.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers and subject matter experts to develop or re-engineer processes.
  • Provide application support for the configuration, customization, and administration of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Offer expert advice on the ITSM Product Suite, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and relationships of these applications to the CMDB.
  • Deploy core functionality in an out-of-the-box ServiceNow system.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, business management, technology strategy, project management, analysis, and planning or policy development.
  • Extensive knowledge in ITIL and ITSM processes.
  • Familiarity with UI Builder and other recent ServiceNow technologies.
  • Experience with Angular JS.
  • Proven ability in problem-solving, process improvement, and change management.
  • Experience configuring and administering ServiceNow.
  • Strong interpersonal and team orientation skills in working with various levels of technical and business-oriented individuals.

Desired Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • CMDB Fundamentals.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist in: Discovery, Service Mapping, or ITSM.
  • Prior experience governing ServiceNow Instances.
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment, preferably within the public sector.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
