Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology and Neurotology at the University of Missouri Healthcare. As an APP in this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent patient care, developing treatment plans and managing postoperative care.
  • Collaborate with a Neurotologist, Otology Fellow, Residents, Audiologists, and other staff to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
  • Gain proficiency in various procedures, including ear cleanings with microscopy, foreign body removal, and other relevant techniques.
  • Review and interpret diagnostic tests, including audiograms, X-rays, and CT scans.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on hearing and balance health, adhering to established protocols and guidance from licensed physicians.
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical skills in otology and neurotology, with proficiency in relevant procedures and diagnostics.
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and develop treatment plans based on complex cases.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume clinical environment.
