Pediatric ENT Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

The University of Missouri Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric ENT Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in a fast-paced pediatric surgical sub-specialty clinic. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will practice independently in collaboration with a Pediatric Otolaryngologist, providing medical care to a high volume of complex pediatric ENT patients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and create independent treatment plans for pediatric ENT patients
- Recommend surgical procedures and support postoperative care for all types of Otolaryngology surgeries
- Work closely with Pediatric Otolaryngologists, Otolaryngology residents, and hospital staff to promote team-based pediatric patient care
- Participate in the Pediatric Multidisciplinary Aerodigestive team and Tracheostomy team
- Provide preoperative education to families prior to surgery
- Mastery of multiple procedures, including ear cleanings with microscopy, foreign body removal from nose or ear, and comprehensive management and education
- Interpret testing such as audiograms, X-rays, and CT scans, and sleep studies
