Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

As a key member of our team, the Assistant Branch Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the successful operation of our retail branch office. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operation of the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve member complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in delivering a professional branch image, including employee dress and appearance, marketing materials, and branch cleanliness.
  • Make independent judgments regarding member transactions, technical, and operational issues.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all staff members, including training and mentoring.
  • Prepare and submit various reports, including branch and teller cash audits, monthly negotiable instrument audits, and quality control reviews.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Must meet the eligibility requirements for NMLS.
  • PC proficiency required.
  • Strong people skills and a knack for problem-solving.
