Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Therapist to provide suicide and mental health crisis screening and intervention services to the Tulalip community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families in crisis, as well as a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis screening and intervention services to individuals and families in need
  • Network with local organizations and agencies to coordinate services and ensure effective crisis response
  • Develop and implement best practice trainings on suicide prevention for the community
  • Provide clinical services, including intervention, assessment, brief therapy, and connection to ongoing services
  • Collaborate with other Tulalip departments to ensure effective crisis response and support

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker
  • Three years of experience working with children and families in crisis, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and diversity
  • Experience in mental health emergency services and crisis response
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Training and experience as a crisis responder and trainer

Terms of Employment: This is a contracted position with The Tulalip Tribes.
