Job Title:

Instructional Faculty Positions in Electrical and Computer Engineering

About the Role:

Dartmouth College is seeking highly qualified candidates for instructional faculty positions in Electrical and Computer Engineering. These positions are non-tenure-line, promotion and sabbatical eligible, with a renewable 3-year term. The successful candidates will be expected to teach 4-5 courses per year, advise students, and take on some service responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach a range of electrical and computer engineering courses, both in-person and online
  • Develop and teach courses for a new online Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Engineering Program
  • Advise students and take on some service responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrated potential to develop and teach a range of electrical and computer engineering courses
  • Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to Thayer's interdisciplinary, collaborative, project-based approach to engineering education
