Position Overview:
As a Fuel Island Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our fuel service operations. This position involves performing various tasks to ensure that vehicles are fueled, washed, and detailed according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Fueling and Maintenance:**
- Accurately fuel, wash, and detail vehicles to meet quality standards.
- Conduct multi-point inspections on incoming units, checking tire pressure and oil levels, and reporting any service issues to the appropriate team.
2. **Inventory Management:**
- Record fuel activities and maintain accurate fuel and DEF inventories, ensuring proper reconciliation.
3. **Vehicle Movement:**
- Safely move heavy-duty vehicles as required.
4. **Minor Repairs:**
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as tire repairs, under supervision as needed.
5. **Facility Maintenance:**
- Maintain the fuel island area to meet Six Sigma standards and perform minor facility maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of related work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand verbal communication from customers.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

- High degree of dependability and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
Licensing Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a CDL within six months of hire.
