Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Python programming skills, proficient C++ programming and software design skills, experience with storage and database management systems (e.g., SQL, no-SQL, protobuf, parquet, HDFS), and experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Machine Learning Expertise: Knowledge and experience in at least one of computer vision, large language models (LLMs), or deep learning for other applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced C++ Programming Skills: Excellent C++ programming and software design skills.
- Distributed System Design: Experience with distributed system design patterns, including high availability, scaling, load balancing, caching, sharding, etc.
- PyTorch and GPU Programming: Experience with PyTorch and GPU programming.
Compensation and Benefits:
Aurora Innovation offers a competitive base salary range of $168,000-$252,000 per year, determined by role, level, and location. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
