Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results in a fast-paced retail environment. As a key member of the LensCrafters team, you will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and providing expert advice on eyewear and optical solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and sales techniques.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible solution for their vision needs.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accurate and efficient service.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are visually appealing and easily accessible.
  • Embody the company's values by treating customers and colleagues with respect and dignity.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
