Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Department of Transportation as a senior technical authority on airway transportation systems, providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to airway transportation systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address technical issues and concerns related to airway transportation systems.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in airway transportation systems, including technology system interrelationships within the National Airspace System.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading complex projects and teams.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to provide expert guidance and advice on airway transportation systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position not to exceed two years, with the possibility of extension or termination sooner. The position is represented by PASS: Regional Tech Ops and AEA.

The selected candidate will be required to undergo a background investigation and may be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
