Job Summary

As a Transportation Specialist at Alameda Point Collaborative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of residents to and from our Service Center. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet residents in a warm and friendly manner, providing a positive first impression of our organization.
Operate a passenger vehicle, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Maintain a log-in sheet for residents, ensuring they sign in before boarding the vehicle.
Place and retrieve shuttle stop signs to designate resident stops.
Report any mechanical issues or damage to the manager for immediate attention.
Thoroughly complete incident reports and adhere to procedures in the event of accidents and emergencies.
Maintain fuel and vehicle cleanliness.
Ensure familiarity with the vehicle and operate it properly.
Adhere strictly to all local and state traffic and driving laws at all times while operating the APC company vehicle.

Requirements

At least three years of driving experience, with at least six months specifically operating a passenger vehicle.
Possesses a valid driver's license and has had no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more.
