The Security Operations Specialist role involves a variety of responsibilities including providing high-level security services, managing residential and event security, offering response services, basic transportation, and conducting investigations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional security services to clients at corporate locations and events.
- Manage and de-escalate challenging situations or individuals.
- Compile comprehensive incident reports for record-keeping.
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed investigative reports.
- Provide emergency and crisis response services, including high-risk terminations, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat assessments.
- Transport clients to and from various locations.
- Secure residential areas, monitor surveillance systems, manage access controls, and respond to alarms.
- Identify and report any equipment deficiencies.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with experience in law enforcement, military, and/or security. A current UT Armed Security Officer License and UT CCW or HR218 are mandatory. Pinkerton values diversity and encourages candidates from various backgrounds and perspectives to apply.
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in high-level customer service.
- Ability to conduct meticulous investigations and produce accurate reports.
- Proficiency in access control systems, surveillance technology, and alarm monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform all essential functions both physically and mentally with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Regular use of computers.
- Manage stressful situations, including interactions with unauthorized individuals.
- Make quick decisions during emergency scenarios.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Ability to adjust vision focus between close and distant objects.
- Travel may be required as necessary.
