Role of the Project Operations Specialist

The Project Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting project management by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects.

In this position, you will oversee and facilitate the installation of equipment and components, ensuring that contractors fulfill their commitments and that all work aligns with approved contracts, specifications, and timelines. You will act as a liaison with project management, providing regular updates on progress and any potential delays, while proactively identifying and resolving site issues that could impact project delivery. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining project organization and supporting the project management team to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between contractors and project management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and manage project documentation effectively.
  • Schedule tasks and monitor project progress.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Support procurement activities as needed.
  • Address issues promptly to prevent project delays.
  • Maintain organization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to installation contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and transportation.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse processes and individuals.
