Store Manager in Training Role

At Insomnia Cookies, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager in Training to join our team. As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for supervising and training team members, leading new staff onboarding, and conducting initial interviews for potential new hires. You will also support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train team members to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Lead new staff onboarding and initial training to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires to ensure the best fit for our team.
  • Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs-Sun).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
