Job Summary

Develops and executes plans to increase new business and drive sales growth in regional markets.

Builds and maintains relationships with regional customers to drive sales and profitability.

Negotiates regional contracts and ensures effective implementation of regional account programs.

Requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle and occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Researches and develops account opportunities within targeted regional markets.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with regional customer base.
  • Strategically plans customer visits to cultivate relationships and communicate plans.
  • Participates in local and regional trade associations and conferences.
  • Develops and executes profitable business plans for managing accounts.
Requirements
  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
  • Generally 8+ years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas.
  • Experience managing Regional or National Accounts in a Supply Chain environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman's Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts.
  • Waterworks industry experience is required.
