Job Summary:

The Ludlow Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Behavioral Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our special education department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultation and support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans for students with challenging behaviors.
  • Provide consultation and training to special education teachers, para educators, and related services providers on best practices in behavioral analysis and intervention.
  • Collaborate with general education staff to develop and implement strategies for supporting students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans to improve student outcomes.
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide parent consultation groups to support student success.
  • Meet with special education staff for weekly meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Support staff with data collection and analysis to drive instruction and programming for individual students.
  • Plan with staff for successful socialization and inclusion within regular education settings and with typically developing peers.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Certified in Massachusetts as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
  • Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents to support student success.
