We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at FLIR. As a Territory Sales Manager for Portable Gas Detection, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our portable gas detection solutions to customers in the Northeast US region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the business in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Manage the tender process, including providing quotes and relevant documents, to secure new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and increasing sales revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Inside Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless customer support and effective sales execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- Proven track record of sales success in the gas detection industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of portable gas detection products and applications, including the gas utility industry in the Northeast US region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and growing the business.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and competitor activity.
