Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively approach customers in the service drive to discuss their current vehicle and identify potential sales leads.
  • Build rapport and establish trust with service customers by understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Assess the value of customers' current vehicles and explain the benefits of upgrading to a newer model.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the latest Ford vehicles, including features, benefits, and current promotions.
  • Present compelling vehicle exchange offers to customers, highlighting the advantages of trading in their current vehicle for a new or certified pre-owned Ford.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from service to sales, including test drives, appraisals, and financial discussions.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions, trade-in evaluations, and sales leads in our dealership's CRM system.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with service customers to nurture leads and close sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with service advisors, sales consultants, and management to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty through exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Ability to work every Saturday.
  • Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Must submit to a background and drug screen.
Working Environment & Physical Demands:

Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors, and on customer test drives. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
