Key Responsibilities
The Senior Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and medical history.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and ensure effective patient care.
- Manage medication refill requests and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
- Document patient interactions and triage phone calls as necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff and assist in their development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred.
- A valid RN state license and current registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience.
