Key Responsibilities


The Senior Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and medical history.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations and ensure effective patient care.
  • Manage medication refill requests and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
  • Document patient interactions and triage phone calls as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Act as a resource for nursing staff and assist in their development.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred.
  • A valid RN state license and current registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience.

Physical Requirements


The position requires a full range of motion, including lifting and assisting patients, as well as prolonged periods of standing and walking. Candidates must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs and possess corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
