Within the Sales and Sourcing division, the Inside Sales Team is dedicated to negotiating with suppliers to secure goods, materials, and services at optimal prices. The Sales and Sourcing Specialist will leverage detailed sourcing strategies and extensive industry knowledge to foster effective communication and maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Inside Sales & Customer Service, the ideal candidate will possess a background in sales order processing, thrive in a dynamic environment, and utilize their initiative to contribute to strategic business planning for the Flight Solution Group (FSG) and the company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect quotes on parts and services based on client specifications.
  • Fulfill quotes by sourcing from inventory and/or brokering materials.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.
  • Manage customer opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Adhere to parts traceability requirements.
  • Monitor shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Address Non-Conforming Materials (NCO Cage) discrepancies.
  • Forecast, monitor, and achieve sales revenue alongside gross margin projections.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary (Less than 10%).
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Competence in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • Familiarity with Quantum CRM and Salesforce.
  • Experience with ILS and Aeroxchange.
