- Behavioral Support: Implement individual treatment plans and help patients develop coping skills.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to crises, ensuring patient safety and de-escalating situations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals on treatment planning and attend team meetings.
- Education and Support: Educate patients and families about mental health and facilitate group therapy and workshops.
- Compliance: Follow regulations and policies, including HIPAA and safety protocols.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, crisis intervention, empathy, and documentation skills.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification required; additional certifications like CBHT are a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift.
May work in clinical, residential, or community settings with potential exposure to challenging behaviors; flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
Pay starts at $17.00 per hour with an earning potential of up to $25.50 based on education, experience in the field, and shift. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available. Other shifts available: Behavioral Health Technician-Evenings (3:30-11:30p), Behavioral Health Technician-Overnights (11:30p-7:30a). Available shift differentials: Weekday evenings: $3.00, Weekend (Friday at 7pm-Monday 7am): $2.00, Overnight: $2.00. Please note that these differentials compound upon one another, so if someone would be working overnights on the weekend, they would be making $2.50 on top of their base pay. If they would work a weekend evening shift, they could earn up to $4.50 an hour over the base pay.
