About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MEP/Systems Superintendent to join our team at Clark Construction Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of large, complex MEP systems on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the work of assigned trades to ensure compliance with contract documents and project schedules.
  • Manage the work to ensure safety, schedule delivery, and quality of work is performed and adhered to.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues.
  • Participate in pay application review processes and ensure gross billing projects are met.
  • Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover, and training processes.
  • Review owner-directed changes and subcontractor change order request paperwork.
  • Keep detailed daily records of trade contractors' work progress.
  • Work with trade project managers to ensure all requirements are met or exceeded.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience managing the installation of large, complex MEP systems.
  • 2+ years of experience leading, developing, and motivating teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction process, including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience leading field operations and communicating plans effectively across multiple audiences.
  • Working knowledge of applicable safety and building regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of construction management software platforms and tools.
