About Our Construction Management Division – AECOM Hunt

AECOM Hunt stands as a premier national construction manager and design-builder, focusing on various sectors including commercial, aviation, sports, higher education, and hospitality. Position Overview

AECOM Hunt is seeking a qualified Senior Superintendent for a prominent construction initiative at a major airport.

  • Oversee on-site administrative and technical management for diverse construction projects.
  • Direct and organize construction activities within designated areas, which may involve single or multi-discipline projects.
  • Act as the primary liaison for client interactions regarding daily jobsite operations or coordinate with client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, adherence to schedules, budget management, and quality standards while collaborating with project management teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by 8 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline with over 8 years of experience in construction management, particularly in a superintendent capacity with a successful track record in large-scale aviation projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry is advantageous.

  • A valid driver's license is required for operating AECOM vehicles on construction sites.
  • Security clearance may be necessary to access certain client facilities, which may involve background checks.

Compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications, with an expected range of $106,000 to $197,580.63.
