Key Responsibilities

+ Direct and coordinate the efforts of assigned trades

+ Manage installation processes to comply with contract specifications

+ Ensure safety protocols, timely delivery, and quality standards are upheld

+ Develop and implement strategies to recover project schedules and budgets as necessary

+ Communicate effectively with owners and architects/engineers regarding field-related issues

+ Participate in the review process for pay applications to ensure billing accuracy

+ Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, and training processes, including punchlist management for system acceptance

+ Review changes directed by owners and subcontractor change order requests for accuracy and compliance

+ Maintain detailed daily records of contractor progress

+ Collaborate with project managers to ensure all project requirements are met or exceeded

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience

+ Over 7 years of experience in managing the installation of large-scale MEP systems

+ At least 2 years of experience in leading and developing teams

+ Comprehensive understanding of the construction process, including scheduling and contract management

+ Proven experience in leading field operations and effectively communicating plans

+ Familiarity with safety and building regulations (e.g., OSHA)

+ Alignment with Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable, collaborative, accountable, ethical, innovative, resilient, relationship-focused, and capable of setting direction and executing plans

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proficiency in construction management software platforms and tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, and P6
