Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000 USD. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.

Job Summary

The Senior Regional Solutions Architect will serve as a consultative technology leader, aligning with our solutions-focused capability to create strong client intimacy through technical expertise. This role involves providing education and thought leadership, translating client business requirements into implementable technology solutions.

The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by creating and implementing solutions architecture, delivering presentations and demos, writing proposals, and documenting deliverables. They will also focus on building deep client relationships, gaining trust, and enabling client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate value propositions to clients, including executive-level management and end-users.
  • Capture and process customer information to build robust proposed solutions addressing efficiency, flexibility, scalability, reliability, and availability.
  • Develop Bills of Material (BOM)/proposals using manufacture tools.
  • Promote and present external demos and training sessions with specific architecture focuses for clients and partners.
  • Develop presales collateral and hands-on labs to drive solutions sales working with HQ teams.
  • Participate in solutions configuration processes with Inside Sales teams and ensure software/hardware orders are accurate and complete.
  • Track pipeline opportunities in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and update according to defined processes.
  • Recommend new technologies, best practices, and tools supporting business growth.
  • Represent Business Unit solutions and/or relevant technology solutions within assigned regions.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction for other engineering roles.
  • Offer post-sales technical support and participate in deploying various solutions.
  • Develop technical scope of Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Accurately scope Services Level of Effort (LOE).

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience providing consultative engineering services to organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent level of experience.
  • Highest level certifications within Architecture area preferred.
  • Understanding of IT operations environments and challenges in typical corporations.
  • Strong experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
  • Familiarity with engineering disciplines, including Data Storage, Backup Storage Solutions, Hyperconverged Solutions, and Virtualization (VMware).
  • Excellent presentation skills, able to comfortably communicate with C-Level Executives, VPs, and Directors.
  • Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.
  • Familiarity with local district markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with people from different disciplines.
  • Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
  • Motivated self-starter who loves solving challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
