The Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides leadership through collaboration with the Director/Designee, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care. Responsibilities include fiscal, human resource, and operational functions. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Swedish Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the healthcare team in planning and delivering patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director/Designee to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Manage fiscal and human resource functions, including budgeting and staffing.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BCLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience preferred.
- Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
