Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Neuro ICU position at HCA HealthONE Swedish is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in providing patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and making critical decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC.
  • Graduate of a certified School of Nursing with a minimum of 276 clinical hours.
  • Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
