Job Overview

  • Introduce children to basic music concepts, including rhythm, melody, and tempo, in a playful and interactive way.
  • Incorporate a variety of instruments and musical styles to expose children to diverse sounds and rhythms.
  • Encourage participation and creativity, fostering a love for music in each child.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to align music sessions with other curriculum goals when possible.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching music to young children (ages 0-5) in a school or childcare setting.
  • A background in early childhood music education or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in playing musical instruments (e.g., guitar, piano, percussion) is a plus.
  • Ability to engage and captivate young children through interactive and hands-on activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and energetic personality.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Work Schedule:

  • Once per week for 2-3 hours (day and time can be flexible).

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
