Job Title: Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Teacher to support our lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young learners at MONTESSORI ACADEMY. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing activities, managing the classroom, and preparing materials to ensure a positive learning experience for children.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
  • Assist with classroom management and create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Help prepare materials, tasks, and resources for children to promote their growth and development
  • Supervise children during various activities and ensure their safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Experience working in a preschool or classroom setting
  • Understanding of Montessori or other educational methods is beneficial

Working Conditions:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Pay: $16.00 per hour
