Founded in 2010 by CEO Ryan Harwood, Gallery Media Group is now part of VaynerX, a holding company owned by Gary Vaynerchuk. We're seeking a skilled Creative Design Strategist to join our team for a three-month, fixed-term role.

Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the SVP of Creative & Brand Strategy and play a critical role in concepting, designing, and developing sales & digital marketing materials. As a Creative Design Strategist, you will become an expert in translating our brand identity into inspiring creative assets and presentations. This is a 40-hour per week, Monday-to-Friday role, with a salary of $17 per hour, and a hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 times a week in our Hudson Yards office.

Responsibilities
  • Design engaging presentations with a refined aesthetic for branded campaigns, pitch decks, and tentpole packages.
  • Collaborate with our in-house design team to create innovative and timely assets for editorial and brand campaigns.
  • Update proposal and post-campaign templates for internal and external use.
  • Ensure our branding and design standards are maintained across all internal and external materials.
Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of digital design experience, ideally in developing marketing materials.
  • Strong sense of visual design, including typography, layout, balance, hierarchy, proportion, color, emphasis, and consistency.
  • Fluency with presentation software, such as Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A consumer of current events, social media, and pop culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with comfort sharing rationale behind design-based decisions.
  • Willingness to collaborate with other designers and creative/brand strategists.
