Position Overview: Jefit is in search of a talented Android Software Engineer to become a part of our rapidly expanding team. This role presents a unique chance to develop essential features and infrastructure vital to our product's evolution during an exciting growth phase. As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to influence product decisions significantly and engage in various aspects of the business aligned with your interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Android ecosystem.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming, including at least 1 year in Android development.
  • Proficient in Java and familiar with Kotlin.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
  • Understanding of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Strong grasp of code versioning tools and platforms, such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration methodologies.
