Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our fast-growing team. As an early hire, you will have a unique opportunity to build core features and infrastructure critical to our product's growth during an exciting phase of expansion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming, with at least 1 year of Android development.
  • Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Kotlin.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Understanding of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and platforms, such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
