Role Summary: The Appointment Scheduler is responsible for overseeing a significant volume of incoming calls, collaborating with various medical and administrative personnel, and managing scheduling and insurance verification processes. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating efficient operations and effective patient appointment management within a vibrant healthcare environment.

Key Duties:

  • Handle around 60 calls daily.
  • Work in conjunction with physicians, billing departments, and insurance representatives.
  • Organize patient appointments and perform online insurance checks.
  • Respond to and prioritize patient inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in appointment scheduling.
  • Background in orthopedics is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ECW is beneficial.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with required hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; includes a 7-week weekend rotation.
