Job Description

At Butler America Aerospace, we are seeking a skilled CNC Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Static Test team, you will be responsible for conducting static tests on various materials to assess their properties. Your expertise in specimen preparation, data acquisition, and equipment operation will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct static tests on various materials to assess their properties
  • Prepare specimens for testing, including fabrication and preparation of specified specimens to required testing sizes
  • Operate and maintain standard 12" shop wet saw and precision grinding machine
  • Set up and utilize data acquisition and control computer to run tests, monitor, and record data collection
  • Maintain and confirm calibrated testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with customer representatives, engineers, and technicians to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and operate new equipment and software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree not required
