Key Responsibilities:- Conduct static tests on various materials to assess their properties such as strength, durability, and elasticity.
- Collect and prepare samples from engineering and fabrication sources for testing.
- Operate standard 12" shop wet saw for cutting composites.
- Operate and use CNC precision grinder for dressing material specimens to exact tolerances.
- Set up and utilize data acquisition and control computer to run test, monitor and record the data collection for customer requested reports.
- Prepare and deliver data to customer required form and location.
- Maintain and confirm calibrated testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with customer representatives and Center Engineers, and technicians to include the Quality Assurance customers requiring support.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures during the testing process.
- Degree not required.
