Job Title: Test Technician

We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting static tests on various materials to assess their properties, preparing specimens for testing, and operating standard 12 shop wet saws and CNC precision grinders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct static tests on materials to assess their properties, such as strength, durability, and elasticity.
  • Prepare specimens for testing, including fabrication and preparation of specified specimens to required testing sizes.
  • Operate standard 12 shop wet saws and CNC precision grinders to cut and dress materials.
  • Set up and utilize data acquisition and control computers to run tests, monitor, and record data collection.
  • Maintain and confirm calibrated testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with customer representatives, Center Engineers, and technicians to support quality assurance and safety compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in materials testing and inspection.
  • Knowledge of static testing procedures and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
