Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients and partners to receive commercial documents in a timely manner, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
- Submit timely customs entries to ensure cargo release in good order, working closely with internal departments to resolve any line holds or issues.
- Communicate effectively with government agencies, such as FDA, USDA, and CBP, to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Process Post Summary Corrections (PSC) to correct or modify entries, and support client-onboarding calls and SOP implementation of our internal customs process.
- Support in auditing processes of entries and transactions to ensure accurate entry submissions, and issue Delivery Orders (D/O's) with pertinent information to drayage partners.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to client interactions.
- Proactiveness and a sense of urgency, with the ability to engage with ocean carriers, airlines, terminals, and railyards to obtain necessary documentation and information.
