Position Overview

The Property Management Assistant collaborates closely with the Property Manager and General Manager to oversee and guide the activities of building personnel and service providers in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of financial and management reports, monitor collections, and coordinate default proceedings.
  • Support the oversight of operating expenses and capital budgets, prepare and manage operating expense recoveries and adjustments.
  • Effectively cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft reports, proposals, and presentations as necessary.
  • Work alongside maintenance staff to formulate a comprehensive 5-year capital plan.
  • Engage in the Customer Service Tenant Satisfaction survey process.
  • Monitor the progress of goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets; generate status reports accordingly.
  • Supervise facility operations, including maintenance programs, vendor contracts, building inspections, construction administration, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Property Manager and General Manager on lease administration tasks.
  • Oversee housekeeping and janitorial services.
  • Execute all administrative and operational duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • One to three years of practical experience in real estate management.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles and practices, preferably within the real estate sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications (particularly Word and Excel) and accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong aptitude for mathematics.
  • Capacity to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with medical office buildings.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

The hourly rate for this position is competitive and takes into account various factors including experience and location, starting at $28.00. This rate is part of the comprehensive rewards package offered by Lillibridge, which includes excellent medical benefits, generous paid time off, and a 401K match.
