Property Manager Role

As a Property Manager at Doorby, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our clients' property investments and maximizing their return on investment. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the property lifecycle, from listing and leasing to tenancy management and move-outs.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial matters related to a property, including rent collection, late payment resolution, and other property-related fees. Prepare monthly financial reports for our clients, outlining the property's performance and profitability.
  • Leasing & Tenant Relations: Manage the leasing process, including setting rental rates, advertising vacancies, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements. Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Property Maintenance: Supervise maintenance activities, scheduling repairs, monitoring progress, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. Respond to emergency maintenance requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including fair housing practices and landlord-tenant laws. Prepare regular reports for clients, providing updates on property performance and key metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of lease agreements and their terms.
  • Proficiency in basic financial statements and their interpretation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in property management is preferred but not required.
