Position Overview:

We are in search of a Fundraising Operations Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. This role will focus on managing donor and supporter information, thereby enhancing our fundraising initiatives, storytelling efforts, and systemic change strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CRM Oversight: Manage and maintain our Salesforce (and future CRM systems) to ensure that donor and supporter records are accurate and current.
  • Gift Management: Process cash and in-kind donations, ensuring timely acknowledgments in Salesforce as part of our gift entry process. This includes creating action paths for gift officers and generating thank-you letters.
  • Donor Research: Identify prospective donors for engagement and keep gift officers updated on opportunities for enhanced donor involvement.
  • Data Migration and Quality: Lead the transfer of donation data from external sources into our primary CRM, ensuring data integrity and enhancing our fundraising strategies while performing cleanup tasks to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Grant Oversight: Develop and implement CRM-based strategies for grant management, allowing the organization to monitor deadlines, project budgets, and report on fundraising progress.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards for both institutional and individual giving efforts, providing insights that align with our organizational objectives.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to non-technical staff on data-related processes and tools, empowering them to effectively utilize data in their roles.
  • Project Coordination: Participate in project planning initiatives, ensuring that data and technology projects align with our organizational goals and timelines.
  • Fundraising Assistance: Support independent revenue generation activities, including fundraising campaigns, peer-to-peer initiatives, and individual giving efforts.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: $31.00
  • Full-Time Position: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with donor CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and data management tools (such as Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable).
  • Data Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage and clean large datasets, ensuring data quality and accuracy in reporting.
  • Fundraising Background: Experience in supporting fundraising and/or membership campaigns, including data analysis and strategy formulation.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate directly with supporters when necessary, aligning with the organization's values and mission.
  • Project Management Skills: Capability to plan and execute data and technology projects, ensuring timely completion that meets organizational needs.
  • Training Experience: Background in training and supporting non-technical staff, enhancing their understanding and use of data tools and processes.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable insights that support organizational goals.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience (Four Years).

Compensation details: $28-$31 Hourly Wage
