POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Automation Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a direct hire opportunity that requires full onsite presence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and advocate for automation projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all operations.
  • Produce CAD-generated detailed layouts, fixtures, and end-of-arm tooling design models as necessary.
  • Generate bills of materials, dimensional part drawings, and cost estimates as required.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Outsourcing teams to develop comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Manage projects by creating timelines, flow charts, and facilitating effective communication within the team.
  • Engage in additional engineering projects as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of automation design, fixture design, and construction.
  • Proficiency in robotics and programming, with a preference for candidates with extensive experience in plastics processing and manufacturing.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality) is required.
