Join the State of South Carolina Department of Social Services as a 2nd Shift Case Manager Assistant in Lexington County. This role is part of the Child Welfare Services - Investigations team.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide casework services in the area of Investigations. As a 2nd Shift Case Manager Assistant, you will work closely with a professional team to plan services for clients, provide transportation to resources in the community, and assist with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:- Provide casework services in the area of Investigations
- Work closely with a professional team to plan services for clients
- Provide transportation to resources in the community
- Assist with administrative tasks, including correspondences, copy, fax, and email
- Participate in Red Cross shelter/emergency response duties as directed
- A High School Diploma and (3) three years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business
- An Associate's Degree and one (1) year of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business
- Must possess a valid driver's license, be able and willing to drive, and to transport children and adults
- Must be able to lift children and to interact with children and adults in a positive manner
