Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home. As a Senior LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our veteran residents, ensuring their health, safety, and security in accordance with established agency Standard Operating Procedures and Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform treatments to assigned patients
- Complete documentation of needs and treatment as required by local, state, and federal requirements
- Assist team members in giving care to patients
- Evaluate and document the patient's condition and nursing needs
- Set goals and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions to meet the physical, psychological, social rehabilitative and discharge planning
- Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Florida
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test
- One (1) year experience providing practical nursing services in a long-term health care environment (nursing home, skilled nursing, or assisted living facility)
- Knowledgeable in the use of computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent patient care resources and time allotment
- Ceiling lift system in every patient room and their bathroom
