Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at My Florida Corp Defunct's skilled nursing facility. As a Senior LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to assigned patients
  • Monitor and provide interventions to meet the needs of residents
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation reflective of resident's current status
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other supportive caregivers
  • Assist team members in giving care to patients
  • Evaluate and document the patient's condition and nursing needs
  • Set goals and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions to meet the physical, psychological, social, rehabilitative, and discharge planning needs of patients
  • Initiate and share in leadership of team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans
  • Assign nursing care to team members in accordance with the patients' needs and available staffing
  • Coordinate other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Must possess licensure as a Practical Nurse
  • Must have one (1) year of experience in providing practical nursing services
  • Must have a current CPR certification
  • Must be knowledgeable in the use of computer applications to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, to include but not limited to, a Level II Background check and drug screen
  • Must participate in Direct Deposit
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medication administration in a skilled nursing facility
