The Maintenance Technician I is a key member of our team, responsible for assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. This role supports our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing operations and requires a strong technical background in mechanical and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Maintenance Technicians II in performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial and facilities equipment.
- Assist in the installation of machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation to ensure functionality and performance.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report to the proper supervisor.
- Understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic prints and symbols.
- Understand how to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience and/or training.
- Must have strong technical abilities with mechanical and electrical equipment, with an ability to learn CNC experience.

Pay and Shift InformationWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-$27, with a $3 shift differential for overnight shifts and a $3 hourly bonus for Weekend Warrior shifts.
Shifts include Monday-Thursday overnight shifts from 6pm-4:30am or 8pm-6:30am, and Friday-Sunday 12-hour shifts with a $6 shift differential.
