The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance shop, providing direct leadership to technicians, and ensuring the timely installation and upkeep of company property and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise all maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality.
- Review repairs and maintenance requests, preparing work order documents.
- Oversee personnel, including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
- Interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
- Establish and maintain a high level of excellence in communication with colleagues throughout the company.
- Assist and coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager to maximize operational efficiency and minimize unscheduled downtime.
- Maintain and improve a Preventative Maintenance Program within the facility to ensure all equipment is operational continually.
- Organize, schedule, and manage work crews for major equipment overhauls, replacement of equipment, and special projects.
- A high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions.
- 3-5 years' experience in a fleet maintenance environment.
- Legally eligible to work in the US.
- A valid CDL driver's license is desired.
- A compassionate, team-oriented individual who is ethical, has great communication skills, displays leadership, decisive, organized, and results-oriented.
