Role Responsibilities:

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting physicians during electrophysiology interventions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating electrophysiology recording devices and managing hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Supporting various procedures such as pacemaker and ICD insertions, radiofrequency ablation, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborating with the medical team as a scrub technician during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.

Work Schedule: This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, ensuring no weekend or on-call duties are required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of one of the following credentials: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electrophysiology or within an interventional cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS Allied Health) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) are advantageous.
