Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the North corridor. This is a full-time Outpatient position, Monday through Friday, with no hospital coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality patient assessment and management, under indirect physician supervision, in accordance with federal and state regulations, practicing evidenced-based medicine.
- Manage patient care by alternating clinic visits with respective electrophysiologist assigned to each clinic.
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
- Participate in trials and undergo appropriate training.
- Work 40 hours per week, with the option to choose between four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days with administrative time built into the schedule.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Holds current license from the Georgia State Composite Board.
- BLS/ACLS certified.
- Minimum 2 years of general cardiology or 1 year of prior EP experience.
